This article is about the simpleness and affordableness of using multimedia in education. Unlike the older days, computers are really easy to use now. There aren't any complex buttons you have to press. Just by the click of a mouse you can make a lesson plan for the week. Many software CDs nowadays are very easy to install onto a PC. Just put the CD in and it'll install itself. Many teachers nowadays are using slideshows as lecture notes. They post pictures from the internet or from their own computers as graphics for the slideshows. By doing this, students find it a lot easier to take notes. Sometimes they even integrate videos of examples of what they are teaching to keep the students interested.
I believe that the use of multimedia in the classroom is a great way of teaching. It keeps the students interested and focused. There are no limitations in using it. It is very easy to use and very affordable. Many schools provide the teacher with a computer so all they have to do is make the slideshow and project it onto a monitor. When I become a teacher, I plan on using slideshows to lecture my notes. It is much simpler to do than writing out the notes and making
copies of them. It also saves paper.
