A Virtual Classroom is a private online space that teachers can use to support student learning. It is accessible via the Internet, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Just like your face–to–face classroom, a Virtual Classroom is a busy place. Virtual schools make available a world of new courses; from obscure electives to advanced-placement classes; that challenge students intellectually and open up new doors educationally. And, thanks to the anytime, anywhere nature of online courses, students with a range of special circumstances; from health issues to job or family constraints; don't have to fall behind or drop out. Many students take online classes of course that are not offered at their schools. When students begin college, they have experience in being organized and turning in work on time. It prepares them for harder challenges. Some activities presented in an online course online quizzes, online tests, and online discussion boards. This also helps students communicate with their peers and express their opinions.

I am a big fan of virtual classrooms. I think that they provide the same qualities as attending a real classroom, as well as allowing students to work at home, time management, and ease to complete work within the week. Learning in new and exciting ways can possibly help expand the learning styles of students. Virtual classrooms also allows all students to post comments of their opinions on specific topics or subjects. Nice article.
